Busting some postpartum fitness myths ๐ต๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ฅ
Myth: you have to wait until your 6 week appointment to move your body
Fact: It’s never too early to start (smartly)!
While your doctor may approve your return to fitness at 6-weeks, there are gentle exercises you can and should do prior to this appointment to help re-establish your core connections, posture and alignment.
Myth: if you don’t tackle “issues” right away they’ll be there forever
Fact: It’s never too late to start!
Women 10+ years out of birth can improve common postpartum ailments like a weak core, diastasis, pelvic floor dysfunction, c-section numbness, and more!ย The benefits of exercise for us ladies are endless!
Not only is exercise good for YOU, but you’ll set a positive example for your children, promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging physical activity ๐ช๐ผ๐ค
